COFFEE PROCESS
Today there are many terms, culturing, infused or fruit fermentation,
but do we really understand the difference between each of these concepts?
CULTURING
Process that takes place during fermentation, adding yeasts or microorganisms that enhance the coffee.
INFUSED COFEESS
Addition of ingredients and aromas that normally are synthetic. Can be essential oils, spices, acids, herbs, fruits, vegetables or any other ingredient that ends up in the final cup once extracted.
FRUIT FERMENTATION
In this process natural fruits or spices are used during the fermentation process, for example, in coffee cherries, in the drying process or with a process of immersion of the green coffee beans.
